Welcome to the digital pottery repository of the research project AtticPOT [Attic PO(ttery in) T(hrace)], which examines the Athenian presence in Thrace through the study of Attic painted pottery from the 6th to the 4th century BC. The repository includes the published vases that have been found in sites of ancient Thrace, as well as the relevant bibliography for each vase.
From the section “Tools” you can see the map with the sites of ancient Thrace where Attic vases have been found and the timeline of the project. The timeline records all the sites with Attic vases and the period they are dated.
